Neutral dark chocolate flavor with just enough sweetness. Not overpowering on its own and will be easily enhanced by fruits/nut butters if desired.Mixed easily and didn't foam up in my blender bottle.Appreciate the limited ingredients and natural sugar. Best whey isolate I have tried so far!The zipper bag is functional, you just have to open it correctly by using the pull tab on the front.

This is my favorite protein powder, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! When mixed with milk, it tastes exactly like those Fairlife protein shakes or other high protein milks. In my opinion, the best part is that it doesn’t have artificial sweeteners so it isn’t super sweet (that’s my preference but it’s not for everyone), but it has a rich chocolate taste. The taste is really good too, probably because the ingredients are high quality. I just hope it doesn’t go up in price, because it’s excellent value right now.

Blends well and tastes great - not too sweet. This is my favorite chocolate whey isolate.Have purchased for a long time, and quality is consistent.Love that it is from grass fed cows.

I received the vanilla flavor and found it to be light on a vanilla taste, but good. The bag on the other hand when opened the perforated seal what’s torn away from the bag. So now I must use a chip clip to seal it properly. But lm satisfied with this product and will buy again. I hope the company reads this review and changes their bag and adds a little bit more flavor to their products.

I ama 67yo women who does aerobic and resistance training and have struggled to build muscle. I understand the importance of adequate protein and stated protein powders in the last year. Most were flavored and they didn’t dissolve well and foamed up with stirring or in the blender. Happily this one actually dissolved completely. It does have a slight but not unpleasant taste. I also have the Casein that I use at night. It’s my new go to and I sending a shipment to my kids to try.

I was EXTREMELY excited to order this product, rave reviews, clean ingredients, etc. only to be severely disappointed. First of all the bag that the product comes in is supposed to be a resealable pouch, no matter how you open it and if you open it correctly the seal is not affixed to the packaging correctly leaving you with a 2.5 or 5 lb bag of powder with no way to keep it fresh or from spilling. This alone I could've got over if the product was enjoyable. It is NOT. The taste is horrendous. I ordered both vanilla and chocolate; the vanilla has zero to no flavor and smells like sulfur/rotten eggs. Given it is probably the more enjoyable of the two flavors. It is NOT sweet at all and the vanilla flavor is pretty much non existent. The chocolate literally almost tastes like nothing with a hint of bitter eggs. They are disgusting. I will say they seem to mix well and don't clump; nothing gritty when swallowing. However getting it down is a tasks in itself. Contacted Amazon about packaging and taste and was graciously offered a refund to "purchase again". I will NOT be purchasing again. I cannot do and although it pains me terribly I have thrown both bags into the garbage where they belong. Now given the ingredient list is "clean" and minimal I may be harsh in my review, as this just may be how something like this should smell/taste but I really don't think so. Also serving size is TWO scoops not one so you are paying significantly more for LESS product, and horribly tasting product at that. I read that batches all seem to smell, taste, and look different which is just not a good selling point - maybe I got a bad batch? Who knows - my advice don't waste your money.

I'm in my third and final stage of the great summer meltdown (That's what I call it, nothing official there). Every year, I lose 20-30 pounds in summer then gain 30-40 pounds in winter, so since I'm getting older, I decided to not only aim for a 50 pound weight loss but also to cut my bodyfat in half. The unfair heads-up, for 22 years, I played sports at a top-tier level, baseball and football on organized teams and weekend basketball pickup game player. I'm familiar with which foods "work" for me. Which is why I turned to protein supplements to help me. My whole food intake is 1,250 calories a day. That's very low for my starting weight of 270. I'm very active between work, coaching youth sports and still playing sports. I cut out all soft drinks. That hurt since I love local drinks from my area like Dr. Enuf. I then agreed with myself to eat some fruit and drink protein shakes throughout the day. I have been a huge supporter of Naked Nutrition's products and still do use them but I needed more specific sizes in my supplements (especially 1 pound tubs) and Promix meets that need.In this last step, I have a bowl of fruit in the morning, blueberries and watermelon are my current favorites. Before lunch, I drink 1 Chocolate whey shake from Promix. I mix it in 10 ounces of Almond Breeze unsweetened Vanilla milk (only 30 calories). For lunch, I have a flatbread sandwich with tomato and lettuce on it. No condiments. Around 3-4 PM, I'll have another Promix chocolate whey shake. Once home, I have a fairly large meal, salad with grilled chicken and pasta, salad with steak, if I'm in a hurry I'll go with 3 flatbread sandwiches. I have vegetable snacks for the rest of the evening (bowl of raw broccoli, grilled asparagus, etc...) Then at around 10 PM, I drink a chocolate casein Promix shake (also with the Almond Breeze milk), but the casein one is 3 scoops = 1.5 serving. I also take L-Arginine, Citrulline D-Malate and BCAA. My "meltdown" doesn't end until September 1st but as of July 23, I'm down to 231 with a 12% bodyfat. I started at 270 with a 20% bodyfat. It's worked better than I expected it to.As for the product itself, this is the best chocolate whey I've tried. I don't know if I'm just used to eating less and now everything tastes better or what but when mixed in the almond milk this tastes a lot like my favorite chocolate milk (Promised Land). I experience no problems with digesting. Note the almond milk is because I do have some lactose sensitivity and this protein doesn't hurt that at all. I'm very happy with all of the products I've used from both ProMix and Naked but will say for chocolate the ProMix is better, at least to me. It's also very easy to mix. I use a simple Blender Bottle for the ProMix whey shakes. My son is convinced I'm trying to make a comeback in sports but he doesn't realize I'm doing it for my health and to show him you don't have to eat a bunch of disgusting foods to lose weight or to stay in shape. Six more weeks and hopefully, another 10 pounds and 2% bodyfat. Oh and I chose the Isolate form because I find Isolate easier to digest.

Using Unflavored, no complaints about taste and it blends well. I have noticed how significantly finer the powder is compared to my $30 jar of unflavored Whey. The color is also whiter. Sure seems like a leaner protein. The 2.5lb bag gives you the Impression you’re getting a better $ per ounce deal, but you’ll end up using the whole bag just as fast as the 2lb $30 jar.Lastly, this bag is way too damn expensive to not seal properly after all this time. Neither bag I purchased properly opened, and that’s after I tried to perform surgery on the 2nd bag to keep the seal from breaking. Whoever signed off on this product shipping to market should quit their job.I’ll keep an eye on it to see if price drops but $57 is way too much of a premium to pay.

I tried this protein powder for the first time today. Blended into a smoothie the taste was very mild and not too sweet. My biggest problem is that the bag is not resealable. I carefully cut the bag open above the zipper only to find the zipper is only attached on one side and does not provide a seal. I had to empty the bag into ziploc bags in order to store it. At such a high price point I'd expect packaging that was not totally useless. I like to be able to look at the nutrition facts while I'm using the product but I threw the bag away instead.

I love the taste of this and Ive tried ALOT of protein drinks even using just water, taste so good. I do the 30 gram of protein within the 30 of waking and have lost 8 lbs. I have this on subscription, that how much I love it.
